Changes in Finance Senior Management

Hannah Argo, LJMU's Finance Director is pleased to announce some changes in the Finance Leadership team:

Tracy Murphy Finance Process Improvement Analyst
Tracy Murphy has accepted the Finance Process Improvement Analyst role reporting to Hannah Argo.

This role will provide dedicated functional expertise to deliver our finance process improvements working in partnership with the rest of Finance plus Business Systems and IT colleagues.  Tracy will also ensure that we keep our customers across LJMU engaged and informed as appropriate.  As you know Tracy has a wealth of experience which is invaluable to us in this endeavour.  

As a result of Tracy’s move we have recruited a new Transactions Manager to replace Tracy’s current role.

Phil Murray - Transactions Manager - starting 18^th July 2022

Phil Murray will be starting on Monday 18^th July 2022 as our full time permanent Transactions Manager reporting directly to Hannah Argo.

Phil will have the following reporting to him:

• Accounts Payable (led by Gary Casey)
• Accounts Receivable (led by Terry McLoughlin)
• Payroll and Pensions (led by Danielle Williamson)

Phil brings a wealth of experience across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll & Pensions.  Most recently he has been working with Riverside Housing Group Shared Service Centre as Finance  Operations Manager. He has previous experience from Auto Trader, Premier Foods, Sodexho, United Biscuits.  We look forward to welcoming him to the team.
