Celebrating Cultures Event 2022

All staff and students are invited to LJMU’s Celebrating Cultures Event on Wednesday 15 June as part of the Students at the Heart Conference.

The event will celebrate the incredible diversity of our students and staff from over 100 countries, through country stalls, performances and a fashion show, as well as free food.

The event will begin at 12:30PM onwards in the Global Lounge on the ground floor of the Student Life Building and has been organised in collaboration with LJMU Equality, International Relations, JMSU, Associate Deans Global Engagement, with the support of the Students at the Heart planning group.

Attendees at the conference will see a gap in the day’s schedule so all staff and students can enjoy the Celebrating Cultures Event.

Staff have until Friday 10 June at 1pm to register for the Students at the Heart Conference on 15 & 16 June, which will see two days of presentations, workshops and lightening talks focusing on the LJMU Values: courageous, inclusive, community, and student focused.
