With the start of the academic year 22/23 fast approaching. JMSU and LJMU have worked together to create an extensive programme of activities and events for new (and returning) students.

Welcome events will run across the month of September with the main Welcome Week taking place from Monday 19 - Friday 23 September.

Teaching will begin on Monday 26 September for all students following the standard academic calendar.

All the events can be viewed via the JMSU's Freshers 22 microsite, which we encourage all staff to signpost new students to come along to.

Two of the main events will see the big SLB Welcome Day on Monday 19 in the SLB and the Advice and Support Fair on Wednesday 21 September. Each new student will also have received a ticket in the mailout which entitles them to a Welcome goody bag which can be collected from JMSU Reception in the SLB 10-7pm as well as an LJMU bicentenary hoodie.

Students can log on and sign up themselves, and staff can also make a group booking for your programme, by contacting JMSU's Sarah Latham directly.
