Additional workshops available for leaders and managers

The Organisational Development teams’ Leadership Enhancement And Development (LEAD) programme has added another two sessions to the development programme.

The two additions include a masterclass in 'Managing Hybrid Working' and 'Research Supervision Induction' sessions.

The Organisational Development teams’ Leadership Enhancement And Development Programme was launched in September 2023 and provides a flexible and comprehensive range of workshops that aim to support and develop the skills, knowledge, approaches and mindset of current and future LJMU leaders. The two new workshops have recently been introduced as part of the programmes ‘Specialist Leadership’ strand.

Two new sessions added to development programme

The masterclass in 'Managing Hybrid Working' session will be held on Wednesday 22 November, 1pm to 4pm at the Redmonds Building. The masterclass is led by Gemma Dale, senior lecturer in the Business School and provides guidance on best practice and practical advice for those who are leading in hybrid work environments.

Organisational Development has also worked in collaboration with the Doctoral Academy to offer a number of Research Supervisor Induction sessions. These are available across the academic year and provide guidance on effective supervision of research degrees and doctoral programmes. This session is mandatory to all those who are new to the role.

For further details on the Leadership Enhancement And Development programme, including the range of workshops on offer and how to register your place, please take a look at the LEAD programme website.
