In memoriam: Colette Dalton

We are deeply saddened by the death of Colette Dalton, a much-loved member of our catering team.

Peter Robinson, Head of Catering and colleague, pays tribute:

A familiar face to staff and students alike, Colette worked for the university for 41 years across our different catering outlets and was an incredibly popular member of the team.

Over her extensive period of service, Colette was nominated for numerous outstanding service awards and more recently received a JMSU Student Experience Award for outstanding professional service. This is testament to the warmth and affection felt towards Colette by our students.

She will be deeply missed by all of her colleagues and the LJMU community.

Our sincere condolences go to her daughter Kate, husband Patrick and the rest of her family and loved ones.

Colette’s Funeral will take place on Tuesday 31 October, 12pm, St Francis Xavier’s Church, Salisbury Street, Liverpool, L3 8DR
