How will Actus benefit you?

Colleagues across LJMU have begun using Actus, our brand new online platform to support staff development.

The university has invested in the platform to help all staff take ownership of their objectives and have good quality conversations about career development.

As you will see from this short video, colleagues have found the system easy to use and its benefits to you include:

• Having all of your development information together in one secure place
• No longer needing to keep paper records
• Enabling better quality conversations with your line manager
• Supporting career development targets, such as applying for professorships and readerships

Training

Actus is intuitive and extremely simple to use. We are also hosting short online training sessions to demonstrate the platform to you.

Uploading your objectives

When you have had your appraisal with your line manager, make sure you upload the details, including your objectives for the academic year, onto Actus.
