New student registration and ID card photo upload

Have you uploaded a photo for your student ID card yet?

Do this as part of your online registration before Wednesday 6 September and you’ll get yours sent to you in the post. After this date you’ll be able to collect yours from a pop-up collection hub once you arrive on campus.

Nursing, midwifery and early starting postgraduate students, you will be able to collect your ID on campus during your earlier induction.

International students, you can collect yours during your welcome event and induction.

No card, no access

It's compulsory to bring your ID on to campus, you'll need it to access all of our buildings and lecture theatres and to use our facilities, so make sure to keep it on you at all times.

You won't be granted access without it.

Plus, you can use your student ID card to get 20% off at all Core Cafes on campus.

Returning students lost or misplaced your ID card?

You'll need to be issued with a new one. This must be done ahead of trying to access any other buildings on campus, attending university lectures or using any services.

First you need to request a new student ID using the Security Card Replacement form. Please do this ahead of attending university, if you know your card has been lost or misplaced.

We’ll then send you a text to let you know you can pick up your new ID. Replacement student ID’s can be collected anytime between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, in either the Aldham Robarts or Avril Robarts Library.
