Unlock Opportunities for Liverpool’s young people

LJMU’s work experience programme is looking for expressions of interest from staff and teams across the university for a local pupil to undertake a placement within your department.
Given the success of last year's programme, the placements would be undertaken for one week during the 2024/2025 academic year and we welcome participation from all areas across the university, both academic and professional services teams.

When would the placement take place?

We are looking for expressions of interest from staff to take placement students for one week in the following months:

Year 13 pupils: November 2024, December 2024 or January 2025

Year 12, 11 and 10 pupils: June and July 2025

Why participate in the Work Experience Programme? 

This is an opportunity to empower a young person to explore diverse career paths within LJMU and showcase your department's impact. Work experience provides invaluable insights, confirming career choices or unveiling new possibilities.
