Exam timetable and frequently asked questions

The next assessment period for LJMU students will take place from Monday 6 January to Friday 17 January 2025 (inclusive). 

The exam period dates will take place over week 16 and week 17 on the standard academic calendar.

The full LJMU timetable can be found via the assessment coursework and examination page. Personal timetables will be available around four weeks prior to the examination period.   

Please be aware that some exams will take place in person, while some will take place online. These assessment periods apply to students following the standard academic calendar. Assessment dates may vary for students following non-standard calendars. 

Where will my exam take place? 

Please make yourself familiar with all venues which are used for LJMU exams that you may not have visited before to save unnecessary stress on the day of your exam.  Venues used may be in any of the following locations:
