New global opportunities portal

The LJMU Global Opportunities Team is delighted to announce the launch of a new Global Opportunities Portal. This portal has been developed in-house by the LJMU ITS Team to offer a better user experience to our students seeking new experiences abroad.

The Global Opportunities Portal can be accessed through MyLJMU or the LJMU Go Abroad webpage, which also outlines the overall process.

Students at LJMU can access the portal securely through single sign-on using any on-premises network device. Alternatively, once logged in to their MyLJMU account from anywhere and on any device, they can access the portal without the need to create a new account or use separate login credentials.

The portal will provide concise information about all the eligible credit-bearing opportunities (Study Abroad), non-credit-bearing opportunities (summer schools and internships) and volunteering opportunities based on the student's enrolled programme and level of study.

Students can book and view information sessions for each type of opportunity through the portal. It will also allow them to register their interests in eligible opportunities and track approvals or rejections.
