Join demonstrations of new LJMU Research Data Repository features

In March, a new landing page and advanced search functionality will go live on our Research Data Repository, streamlining the management of research data and promoting open access.

In what is a significant development for the research community, these new features promise to revolutionise the way researchers and communities all around the world can access our research data.

The new look and advanced search functions will be introduced alongside new guidance, templates, and workshops to support your open research journey.

Special thanks go to our Special Collections and Archives colleagues who have provided new images to enhance the look and feel of the data repository, which will be revealed in full once the improved repository goes live in a few weeks.

For more information and to come along to a drop-in session for a demonstration, please email Amie Longthorne, our Research Data Management Specialist and you will be sent a Teams meeting link.

The drop-in demo sessions will take place as follows:

  • Monday 26 February from 1pm to 1.30pm
  • Tuesday 27 February from 1pm to 2pm
  • Thursday 29 February from 10am to 11am
  • Friday 1 March from 12.30pm to 1pm
