Long-serving staff celebrate their LJMU careers

A celebration to recognise long-serving members of staff took place this week at the Hilton Hotel in Liverpool.

Over 100 staff, with more than 25 years’ service each, were invited to enjoy a special afternoon tea with colleagues who have dedicated large parts of their career to the university.

Head of Reward, Staff Engagement and Wellbeing, Andy Keegan, said: “It was brilliant to come together with colleagues to acknowledge their dedication and commitment to the university.”

The Vice-Chancellor, along with members of the Executive Leadership Team, joined the event to reflect with staff and to pass on their thanks and congratulations.

The long service staff celebration event is set to become an annual occasion with staff who reach the milestones of 25, 35, 45 and 50 years of service being recognised each year.
