Winners announced at Student Experience Awards 2024



Congratulations to all the winners and nominees at the JMSU Student Experience Awards 2024

The awards, held at Liverpool Town Hall yesterday evening (16 May), celebrate the success of students and staff across the university who go above and beyond, to create the very best experience, for our students. 

Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mark Power, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Student Experience, Professor Phil Vickerman, John Moores Students’ Union, and staff and students from across the university, attended the awards, which saw winners announced across 22 categories. 

The 2024 Student Experience Awards winners are:

  • Outstanding Teacher  BUS - Mary Mullin 

  • Outstanding Teacher  FET - Dr. Nathan Shone

  • Outstanding Teacher  SCS - Dr. Alex Wilshaw 

  • Outstanding Course Team - Musical Theatre Practice 

  • Outstanding Personal Tutor - Sally Raper 

  • Outstanding Professional Service Star - Paula Timmings 

  • Outstanding Professional Services Team - Academic Achievement Team 

  • Outstanding Postgraduate Researcher - Beti-Elen Thomas 

  • Outstanding Teaching Support Officer - Gabriel Reavey 

  • Outstanding Student Representative APSS - Bethany Malone 

  • Outstanding Student Representative BUS - Chloe Davies 

  • Outstanding Student Representative FET - Alex Whittle
