Summer building opening times

LJMU will move to its summer building opening hours from Monday 24 June.

Building opening times will remain unchanged but they will close at 7pm, Monday to Thursday, with last activities to be completed by 6:30pm.

The exceptions to this are:

• Buildings will close at 6pm on Fridays with last activity at 5:30pm.
• John Lennon Art and Design Building will close at 5pm, Monday to Friday.
• Byrom Street will close at 8pm, Monday to Thursday, with last activity at 7:30pm. On Fridays, it will close at 7pm with last activity at 6:30pm.
• The Student Life Building will remain open 24/7.

• The Sport Building remains open until 9.30pm Monday to Friday, and until 4.30pm on Saturdays and 5.30pm on Sundays.  

Libraries

Avril Robarts Library is open from 8.45am to 7pm, Monday to Friday, from 10am to 4pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays. 

Aldham Robarts Library is open from 8.45am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, from 10am to 4pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays. 

Core Café opening times

Over the summer, our Core Cafes on campus are open from 8am to 3pm (except for those in the Student Life Building and Tithebarn Building, which are open 8am to 4pm).

The café in the John Lennon Art and Design Building and the Byrom Street social zone café are closed for the summer.
