Part-time Jobs Fair: Tuesday 24 September

Are you looking for part-time job opportunities to help develop your skills, gain experience, enhance your CV and to earn some money to supplement your studies?

Students from any programme or level of study are invited to attend the Student Futures Part-time Jobs Fair on Tuesday 24 September, 12pm to 2pm, at the Student Life Building (SLB) to meet a wide range of organisations from various sectors looking to hire you for roles you can fit around your studies.

This includes Unitemps, LJMU's own recruitment agency, who can help you to secure part-time, temporary and casual work both at LJMU and externally.

Book a place at the fair.

Inclusivity Matters

LJMU is committed to inclusivity. If you have a disability, are neurodivergent, or feel anxious about attending the fair, our Student Ambassadors are here to provide guidance and support. Simply drop by the Careers Zone desk on the ground floor of the SLB for assistance.

Get expert advice to prepare for the fair

If you’ve never attended a recruitment fair before or are not sure about the best way to approach an event like this to make the most of the experience, don’t miss our short online webinar, “Prepare for the Part-time Jobs Fair” on Monday 23 September at 2pm.

Upgrade your CV for the fair

If you need to upgrade your CV before the fair, the CV Café is open on Monday 23 September, and on the day of the fair, from 10am to 12pm at the SLB Careers Zone. No need to book just drop-in to get your CV checked by the Student Futures team prior to submitting it to employers at the fair.

The Student Futures team hold regular CV Café drop-ins (every Tuesday and Thursday, 1pm to 3.30pm) and Careers drop-ins (every Thursday 11am to 12pm) at both the SLB and Byrom Street Careers Zones throughout the year. Check out our event schedule for more details.

Can't make it to these events and haven't written a CV before? No worries! Head over to Careers Zone 24/7 to try our CV Builder App to get started, or explore the CV360 App for instant feedback and suggestions on improving your existing CV.
