Association for Project Management accredits LJMU master's programme

LJMU’s MSc in Project Management has officially received accreditation from the Association for Project Management (APM) - the UK’s chartered membership organisation for the project profession

The accreditation was awarded following a detailed review process, recognising the academic quality and industry relevance of the programme delivered by LJMU’s School of Civil Engineering and Built Environment.

Dr Ali Rostami, the programme leader, said: “APM programme accreditation provides our students with a clear pathway towards professional membership and chartered status, significantly enhancing their career prospects in the field.

“This accreditation not only underlines our commitment to student employability but also reflects the strong links we maintain between our curriculum and current professional standards.

“It positions LJMU as a forward-thinking institution, aligning our teaching with real-world expectations and practices to better support our students’ future success.”

Earlier this year, it was also announced that students on the postgraduate project management programme can now gain PRINCE2 Foundation certification, included within their tuition fee.
