Redmonds Building refurbishment works

The university will be delivering refurbishment works over the summer to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of Redmonds Building.

Led by Estate Development and Campus Services, the works will take place across the third, fourth and fifth floors between 12 May and 1 September.

The project will upgrade the existing air conditioning system and lighting throughout these floors and will require access to all rooms and communal spaces to complete. There will be limited access across these floors during various points throughout the summer.

The works are required to enhance the resilience of the heating and cooling system as well as the efficiency and sustainability of the building. LJMU has a comprehensive strategy to decarbonise its estate, with these works helping us move towards our ambition of reaching net zero.
