As a teacher, supervisor, and mentor, my philosophy is grounded in the belief that education is a journey of discovery, growth, and transformation. I find deep joy in supporting my students at every stage—whether they are undergraduates taking their first steps into academic inquiry, master’s students deepening their knowledge and skills, or PhD candidates refining their expertise. Nothing is more fulfilling than witnessing those "light bulb" moments when understanding clicks. These experiences reaffirm my passion for guiding, supporting, and inspiring students along their educational and research journeys.

I am a senior lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University in the School of Health Sciences and Allied Health. I hold a Doctorate in Public Health from Northumbria University, UK, a Master's degree in International Health and a Bachelor's degree in Education. She specializes in lecturing students and healthcare professionals in Public Health, Global Health, and Health Systems Management. I have coordinated curricula reviews and trained health workers in Basic Emergency Care and Infection Prevention and Control under Jhpiego and the Ministry of Health, Kenya (MOH).
