Catherine started her surveying career at 18 working in private practice on motorway and bridges. Years later, after a stint in housing development and professionally qualifying in commercial property, she joined the NW Regional Development Agency and has since had the pleasure of playing her part in developing some of the most iconic schemes in Liverpool and the wider region.

Now working at Homes England, the Government’s Housing and Regeneration Agency, Catherine leads the Team of multi-disciplinary professionals who support local leaders and partners across Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester in achieving transformational growth and change, unlocking complex housing and regeneration projects.

In recent years as a Chartered Surveyor, Catherine has enjoyed supporting the RICS Inspire initiative. As an Ambassador for the programme, she is a regular speaker and contributor to sustainability sessions and career workshops at universities, schools and colleges.

Outside of work, she has 2 grown-up children, both of whom have studied at LJMU and are pursuing careers in urban design and architecture.  She’s considering a family consultancy if and when retirement ever beckons.
