LJMU Climate Change Postgraduate Scholarship 2023

Then you could be eligible for the LJMU Climate Change Scholarship.

How much will the award be worth?

The scholarship awards £6,000 discount towards tuition fees for two eligible international students.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must:

  • have an offer to study MSc Climate Change and Sustainability for September 2023 intake
  • be a self-funded international student
  • not have already studied a postgraduate taught degree at LJMU
  • have the funds to cover the remaining living costs, travel and any other costs associated with studying at LJMU
  • be classed as an overseas student for fee purposes

Applications to apply for the scholarship for 2023/24 are now open and will close on Monday 15 May 2023.

How can I apply to study MSc Climate Change and Sustainability?

Entry requirements

To apply for this course, you must reach the entry requirements. The minimum qualification for entry is a high 2.2 (Hons) degree or the equivalent international qualification in geography, environmental science, engineering, or another numerate physical science field.  Professional experience will be considered on its individual merit in relation to the programme; and publications, written reports, CPD activities and other suitable evidence of accomplishment will be considered.

A minimum 6.5 IELTS (with a minimum of 6.0 in each category) is required to demonstrate English language skills. Applicants are assessed on their application form and references. To view country specific entry requirements and for more info please visit the course page.
