- Email – access to your LJMU email account
- PC Booking – Book available PCs around the university campus
- Office 365 – Free access to Microsoft Office (Word , Excel etc.) while you are studying at LJMU
My Account – Manage your IT account
- Forgotten Password - you’ll need info on your LJMU Student ID card
- Change Password – On a University computer, just press Ctrl+Alt+Del and choose ‘Change a Password’.

Your LJMU computer password is for you and only you – do not share it with anybody else.

- Students’ Union – access key Union services, information about clubs & societies, vote in elections
- Library – access resources and support. Book a library or academic skills appointment or find out about drop-in workshops

Free Wifi
The University offers the Eduroam academic Wi-Fi network common to many academic institutions across the world. This is free to use so you won’t need to use your valuable mobile data allowance while on LJMU premises. Details on what you need to do can be found on MyLJMU.

- Use Find a PC in MyLJMU (under My Applications) to locate one that you can use now.
- You can also book a PC or borrow a laptop from the library
- Access an extensive selection of popular software including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and much more through the AppPlayer too
Higher Powered PCs - Powerful PCs for demanding graphical software – coming soon when the upper floors of the Avril Robarts Library reopen.
IT Support for Students starts with the Library - you can:
- Ask at the Library desk during opening hours
- Log a support request through the HelpMe portal at any time. You can also access the orange LJMU HelpMe icon on your desktop
- Try the ‘Contact Us’ form on the Library page (if you're having problems that prevent you logging in)
- Try the Library online chat facility: look for the orange 'Ask the Library' tab at the top right of the screen on the Library Services pages.
