1. Support for students with a disability

   This week Chris Mackintosh and Milly Blundell have generously agreed to share their experiences of delivering a module using a flipped learning methodology.

3. Communication and blended-learning: Language and social cues in different learning contexts across educational stages

   The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated the pace at which educational institutions moved towards a blended approach of online and in-person learning (Jisc, 2020). While embracing this change, the challenges it brings for learner experience, engagement and learning must be carefully considered.

4. Pathway programmes - International students

   LJMU is a member of NCUK (Northern Consortium of UK universities). International students who successfully complete an NCUK programme are guaranteed a place at one of the 11 consortium universities. 5. Social behaviour, ecology and conservation

   Our interest lies in the evolution of animal societies and the interactions that occur within these societies and their link to emotion, cognition and communication. We primarily study primates (including humans) but also other species including birds. 7. Sharing information about your disability

   Many students and graduates with a disability, health condition or neurodiversity worry about whether to tell a prospective or current employer. In legal terms, this is referred to as ‘disclosure’. It is both a balancing act and a personal decision whether and when you want to share information about your disability during the recruitment process or in the workplace.

8. Co-publishing

   It might appear to be a daunting task to try and publish a piece of work on your own, find out why it may be worthwhile to think about publishing with others and working in writing teams.
