2. Graduation review Thursday 11 July 2019

   The penultimate day of our summer graduation week boasted three ceremonies; graduands from Liverpool Business School celebrated in both the morning and afternoon, while graduands from the School of Humanities and Social Science enjoyed their ceremony with family and friends from 5pm.

3. School of Education project inspiring next generation of teachers and students

   Spearheaded by School of Education lecturer, Adam Vasco, the two-year project aims to bridge the gap between school and university to ensure that people of all backgrounds, especially those from the Global Majority, have the confidence and support to choose university study.

4. New website course search function

   This week marks the launch of an exciting new development to our website. A project group have been working with an external agency (Sagittarius) to improve the course search function.

5. City’s universities unite to encourage students to register to vote

   With only days before the 26 November registration deadline for the December 12 General Election, Liverpool's universities are collectively encouraging the city’s 70,000 students to register to vote.

8. International Scholarships awarded to 16 students

   16 students were presented with their international scholarships this week at a reception in the Student Life Building.

10. Liverpool announces world-leading end-to-end Pandemic Institute

    Liverpool John Moores University is partnering with the citys major health research and public organisations to launch the headquarters of the Global Pandemic Institute, committed to helping the world prevent, prepare, and respond more effectively to pandemics.
