1. National Eye Health Week 18 - 24 September

   We are promoting the importance of good eye health, sharing important eye care advice to encourage adopting healthy habits and highlighting the need for regular eye tests.

2. Bonobos share and share alike

   Bonobos are willing to share meat with animals outside their own family groups. This behaviour was observed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and is documented in a new study in Springer’s journal Human Nature

3. Events and support for disabled and neurodivergent students

   Disability History Month begins this week (16 November- 16 December) and LJMU has a range of events, careers advice sessions and support available for students.

4. Academic Registry training sessions February to July 2023

   There are still many staff training opportunities available this academic year, through to the end of July 2023, covering a range of topics.
