1. Part-time job opportunity for students and graduates

   LJMU students and graduates are invited to apply for positions in a team of marshals helping to keep our buildings COVID-safe in the new academic year.

2. Academic Registry results notification briefings

   Two Microsoft Teams sessions will take place later this month to assist LJMU administrative staff involved with the pre and post board of examiner process, including results notification.

3. International student engagement and assessment policy updates

   Changes have been made to some LJMU staff policies.

4. Get free IT kit through Laptop and Recycled IT schemes

   Students can apply for a free laptop or recycled IT kit through the IT support schemes.

5. Empowering staff to support PGRs from racially minoritised groups

   Academic and professional services staff who support PGRs have a bespoke training and development opportunity designed by the educational charity Grit Breakthrough. Using a coaching approach to support PGRs is a two-day online coaching workshop, which will run across two days in November.

6. Tell your students about Freshers 22 activities

   Students can sign up for Freshers 22 activities or staff can make a group booking for their programme.

7. £4k raised so far through NSS

   Final year students have raised £4,000 for charity so far, by completing the National Student Survey.

8. Academic Registry Roadshows February and March

   The Student Governance Team will deliver the next roadshow on Friday 24 February, Redmonds Building 2.33 and Registry Services will deliver a session on Tuesday 7 March, SLB 3.02.

9. Journalism students join LJMU Chancellor Nisha Katona at Mowgli Dog Show

   Five journalism students covered the Mowgli Dog Show this month, hosted by LJMUs Chancellor Nisha Katona.
