1. Director Ken Loach talks to students

   Legendary British film director Ken Loach joined staff and students for a screening of his 1995 film 'Land and Freedom' followed by an hour-long Q&A.

2. ICC to research civic engagement and impact of arts organisations

   The Institute for Cultural Capital (ICC), a collaboration between LJMU and the University of Liverpool, is conducting research to establish the role arts organisations play in their communities and nationally.

4. Apprenticeships and Student Governance policy updates

   The new Apprenticeships Policy has received Academic Board approval and 20 Student Governance policies, guidance and pro forma have recently been reviewed, and have received minor amendments.

5. Staff Qualifications and Health and Safety policy updates

   A number of LJMU staff policies have been updated.

6. New Open Access Policy

   LJMU has published a new Open Access Publication Policy for its staff.

7. Graduation dates announced for March 2023

   Our next graduation ceremonies are now scheduled to take place between Monday 27 – Wednesday 29 March 2023

   The Professorship and Readership Conferment process for 2023 is now open.

9. Final preparations for new curriculum management system

   Final preparations are under way for the launch of LJMUs brand new curriculum management system.
