1. Updates to Relocation Policy for new staff

   The Relocation Policy for new staff has been updated to ensure it reflects HMRC guidance.

2. Health, safety and environmental management code of practice updates

   The Executive Leadership Team (ELT) has recently approved a new health and safety code of practice as well as amendments to a further 11 policies.

3. Recognising the achievements of exceptional individuals

   New Honorary Fellowships for outstanding achievement

4. New Subcontracting Policy approved

   The approved Subcontracting Policy sets out the requirement for subcontracting provision for degree apprenticeships delivered across the university.

5. LJMU appoints Julia Midgley as Bicentenary year Artist in Residence

   Julia has a long history of connections with the university and will record events throughout 2023 in documentary drawing and watercolour sketches.

6. Audit and Risk Policy update

   The Engagement of External Auditors for Non-Audit Work Policy has been revised.

7. Graduation review: Wednesday 13 July 2016

   The sun shone on the third day of LJMU's 2016 Summer Graduation Ceremonies at Liverpool Cathedral on Wednesday 13 July.

8. Health and Safety policy updates

   A number of Health and Safety policies have been amended and approved by the Health and Safety Committee.

9. Examination Timetable now out

   The main University examinations will take place between 27 April - 7 May 2020.

10. Reportable Events Policy update

    Amendments are in line with the latest Office for Students (OfS) guidance.
