1. LJMU Assessment 4 – 14 January 2022

   As we approach our assessment period early next year, this note is to provide you with important preparation information and to confirm that exams will take place in person (with the exception of Levels 3 and 4).

2. LJMU supports Hong Kong Community with Progression to HE Opportunities

   LJMU’s Outreach Team has continued their work with the Hong Kong community based in Warrington. The team held an event last week to support the community and share access to Higher Educations options, within the region.

3. LJMU joins record-breaking Liverpool Pride March 2024

   More than 100 students, staff and alumni took to the streets for the Liverpool City Region Pride March at the weekend.

4. Unitemps LJMU named 'Branch of the Year'

   LJMU’s on campus recruitment agency, Unitemps, has won ‘Branch of the Year’ at the Unitemps Annual Awards 2024.

5. LJMU launches Sustainable Development Goals hub

   LJMU is outlining its commitment to the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through a microsite which highlights the research and knowledge exchange, student experience and place and partnership activities, that showcase the university’s ongoing journey towards a more sustainable, prosperous future for local communities and the whole planet.

6. International agents from 18 countries visit LJMU

   LJMU’s International team has hosted an agent conference for 24 individuals from 18 different countries across the globe, to showcase our offering for internationals students.

7. Health, safety and environmental management code of practice updates

   The Executive Leadership Team (ELT) has recently approved a new health and safety code of practice as well as amendments to a further 11 policies.

8. New Respect Always film celebrates LJMU voices and accents

   A new video has launched as part of a Respect Always campaign to celebrate and highlight the importance of having patience and respect for all the voices and accents, here at LJMU.
