1. World Environment Day 2022

   Ahead of World Environment Day this Sunday (5 June), were reaffirming our commitment to green initiatives and sustainability.

2. Open Research Week 2022

   Liverpool John Moores University, the University of Liverpool and Edge Hill University libraries are delighted to announce our programme for Open Research Week 2022, taking place from 14th-17th February 2022. There are 8 events over 4 days. All will take place over Microsoft Teams and each session can be booked individually. All events will be recorded; if you are unable to attend but are interested in the content, please sign up and the recording will be sent out to you in due course.

3. Armistice Day 2022 arrangements

   We will mark Armistice Day by observing a two-minute silence at 11am on Friday 11 November.

4. Six engineering students to showcase innovative products at New Designers show

   From an ergonomic kettle to a complete redesign of a ship bridge system, these product design engineering students are using their ambition and fresh thinking to solve 21st century problems

5. Events and support for disabled and neurodivergent students

   Disability History Month begins this week (16 November- 16 December) and LJMU has a range of events, careers advice sessions and support available for students.

6. Graduation dates announced for March 2023

   Our next graduation ceremonies are now scheduled to take place between Monday 27 – Wednesday 29 March 2023

7. Respect Always Coffee and Catch Ups this November

   Do you feel respected within LJMU? All staff are invited to Respect Always 'Coffee and Catch Ups' throughout November to tell us your thoughts. Refreshments will also be provided.

8. LJMU marks Armistice Day 2022

   Staff and students observed a two-minute silence across campus to mark Armistice Day.

9. LJMU Assessment 4 – 14 January 2022

   As we approach our assessment period early next year, this note is to provide you with important preparation information and to confirm that exams will take place in person (with the exception of Levels 3 and 4).

10. LJMU takes to the streets for Liverpool Pride

    Over fifty students, staff, family and friends of LJMU, and JMSU, joined Liverpool Pride, to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community.
