   The Academic Board has recently approved an update to the Personal Circumstances Policy, as well as detailed supporting guidance for LJMU students and the Personal Circumstances Panel.

5. Celebrating 20 years of the Start-up Hub

   LJMU is celebrating 20 years of its Start-up Hub this month which has helped over 1,000 businesses and is estimated to have contributed over £20 million in income to the Liverpool City Region economy each year.

   This month, as part of our International Women’s Day celebrations, seven of our female associate deans shared their extraordinary career journeys with local school children, staff, and students.

   LJMU's MA Mass Communications students went behind the scenes at BBC Radio Merseyside for a studio tour, followed by an 'in conversation' event with Mike Brocken, presenter of Folkscene, Radio Merseyside's longest running programme.

8. The Writer’s Friend: A Roscoe Lecture ‘In Conversation’ with Nicola Shindler

   Manchester-born Nicola Shindler, an award-winning British television producer and executive, delivered an insightful and inspiring Roscoe Lecture ‘In Conversation’ event at St George’s Hall.

   The postgraduate research community from every faculty came together for LJMU’s annual PGR Festival at the Maritime Museum.

10. Report on benefits of outdoors debated in Scottish Parliament

    Dr Kaye Richards' Outjoyment Report for the Camping and Caravanning Club is having a significant impact nationwide
