   LJMU is applying for Silver-level Athena Swan accreditation and want to hear your views on working at LJMU.

2. LJMU host 59th Annual Associated Schools of Construction International Conference

   Hosted outside of the USA for only the second time in the conference's history, more than 170 delegates gathered in Liverpool for the three-day event.

3. April is Stress Awareness Month

   We have collated various workshops and resources, which we hope will help you manage your stress levels and identify how LJMU can support you.

4. Academic Staff Governor vacancy

   The Secretariat is now seeking expressions of interest from eligible candidates for the position of Academic Staff Governor to serve on the Board of Governors.

5. Academic Registry invigilation training

   Training sessions will be held via Microsoft Teams throughout April and will cover the main aspects of the role of invigilators, including responsibilities prior to, during and following the completion of the examination.

6. Academic Registry results notification briefings

   Two Microsoft Teams sessions will take place later this month to assist LJMU administrative staff involved with the pre and post board of examiner process, including results notification.

7. 135 students graduate from global partner Westford University College

   Over 135 students have graduated this March at a ceremony in Dubai.

   LJMU is developing a new, more efficient process to manage our degree apprenticeship programmes.

    From the first person in her remote village in Pakistan to attend university, to a doctorate, Dr Maryam Kawsar graduated from LJMU with a PhD today.
