1. Staff and students welcome changes to Highway Code that promote active travel

   Staff and students at LJMU have welcomed changes to the Highway Code that restructure the road hierarchy and prioritise walking and cycling.

2. Front of class technology support sessions for staff - September 2022

   IT Services Technology Support staff will be on hand this September to offer informal guidance on the operation and use of in-class technologies such as projectors, visualisers, and front of class computers.

3. Join an LJMU Staff Network and take on a key Network Official role

   Did you know LJMU has a number of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) related Staff Networks and Ally Groups, that LJMU and JMSU staff can join?

4. Staff online security training

   If you have not already completed your online security training for this quarter, you must do so as soon as possible.

5. Academic Registry online training sessions

   There are lots of academic staff training opportunities still available throughout the remainder of semester one.

   There are still many staff training opportunities available this academic year, through to the end of July 2023, covering a range of topics.

7. Academic Registry Roadshows

   Informal one-hour breakfast sessions open to all academic staff who want to learn more about the support available to them from Academic Registry.

   Staff at LJMU believe it is a good place to work, according to the results of this year’s Your LJMU, Your Voice survey.

9. Let’s Talk About Disability Workshop (Virtual) - Tips For Supporting Staff/Students With Disabilities & Long-Term Health Conditions Including Mental Health

   This is an opportunity for LJMU/JMSU Managers, Programme Leaders and Personal Tutors (those directly responsible for staff/students) to participate in a half day (three hour) virtual, Lets Talk About Disability Workshop in order to gain tips for supporting staff/students with disabilities & long-term health conditions including mental health.

10. Volunteer at our March graduation ceremonies

    Staff are needed to usher graduands and guests, and to carry out other duties at the Anglican Cathedral during our March ceremonies this bicentenary year.
