Grad Fest 2019 is a new event for final year students at LJMU, taking place on 3 April from 2pm-7pm at the John Lennon Art and Design Building.
A call for nominations has opened for Academic Board membership.
As graduation week ended, the final graduands of July 2019 arrived at Liverpool Cathedral with their friends and families to receive their awards.
Each year applications are invited for the conferment of Professorships and Readerships and the process for 2019 is now open.
LJMU is celebrating after the university was named Nurse Education Provider of the Year (Pre-registration) at the Student Nursing Times Awards 2018.
The representations of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) roles is improving, but there’s work to be done. As of 2018, WISE Campaign (Women into Science and Engineering) announced that the UK is on track to have one million women working in the field by 2020. These statistics are encouraging, and demonstrate an improvement in opportunities shown to young women who pursue the career path.
The postgraduate research community from every faculty came together for LJMU’s annual PGR Festival at the Maritime Museum.
