   The Projects, Operations and Workplace Management Research Group develops solutions for the ever-growing challenges in projects, operations and workplace management and suggests alternative ways to improve organisational performance. 9. Centre for Port and Maritime History

   The Centre for the Port and Maritime History focuses on port cities and examines their relationship to maritime ventures and enterprise. Research examines: urban history, British merchant marine advertising, Liverpool and the British Empire in the eighteenth and twentieth centuries.

10. Drone Research Group

    The LJMU Drone Research Group uses off-the-shelf and custom in-house-built drones for a wide array of applications that range from mapping of archaeological sites to counting orangutans. Find out more about the research taking place within this group.
