1. Data protection related policy updates

   Four data protection related policies have been updated and can now be found on the LJMU Policy Centre.

2. Admissions Policy update

   The LJMU Admissions Policy has recently undergone some minor amendments and the updated version can be found in the Policy Centre.

3. New arrangements for AV support

   We have a new system in place to support you in using audio visual and display technology in our teaching spaces.

4. Academic Registry invigilation training

   Training sessions will be held via Microsoft Teams throughout April and will cover the main aspects of the role of invigilators, including responsibilities prior to, during and following the completion of the examination.

   Advice on how to overcome homesickness. Research shows 35% of students experience it.

6. Liverpool John Moores University announces new Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive

   The Board of Governors of Liverpool John Moores University have appointed Professor Ian Campbell to lead the institution as the next Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive.

   A major new study revealed how camping in 'great outdoors' improves well-being and mental health

8. Zois Award 2015

   A key member of the Liverpool Telescope Gamma-Ray Burst Team, Professor Andreja Gomboc at the University of Nova Gorica in Slovenia, has received the 2015 Zois Award for her study of Gamma Ray Bursts.

9. Scholarships for new students

   Every year we award a range of scholarships from £1,000 to £5,000 that don't need to be paid back!

10. Gregory Lip honoured in US

    Professor Lip is close collaborator with the Faculty of Health, the School of Sport & Exercise Science and the School of Computing & Mathematics.
