1. February is LGBT+ History Month

   This month marks LGBT+ History Month 2022, a chance to shine a light on the overlooked and complicated history of all of the identities and communities under the LGBT+ umbrella .

4. Bicentenary year gets underway

   As our 200th year gets underway, we are excited to celebrate with you, our students and our staff, and there will be opportunities throughout the year for you to get involved.

5. Staff and community partners celebrate LGBT History Month

   To mark LGBT HIstory Month, LJMU Together (the University's LGBT+ Staff Network) organised a social event on Friday 22nd February featuring talks and a chance to play 'Psychic Bingo' with Liverpool's Lady Seanne.

7. Staff dental plan

   An opt-in period is now open for a staff dental plan.

8. Over 500 staff and students attend Students at the Heart Conference 2023

   Covering everything from AI to alumni, 70 plus sessions were delivered by 200 staff and students across the two-day event.

9. Volunteer at our March graduation ceremonies

   Staff are needed to usher graduands and guests, and to carry out other duties at the Anglican Cathedral during our March ceremonies this bicentenary year.

10. Staff Car Parking Update

    Following a recent review of LJMU staff car parking provision, the university will continue to subsidise staff car parking until 31 August 2023.
