Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) is to offer a new generation of police officer training in partnership with Merseyside Police.
Merseyside Police Chief Constable, Andy Cooke QPM, cited enhancing trust within his own staff and the community as being one of his key priorities in leading Merseyside Police, as part of LJMU’s Chief Constable Annual Lecture Series.
LJMU is deeply saddened by the death of His Honour Dr David Lynch who had been a part of the fabric of the university and School of Law for over 50 years.
The project, which began 14 months ago, saw leaders from across LJMU’s ELT paired with Black and ethnic minority Liverpool city leaders to share their lived experiences and inform policy and decision making at the university and beyond.
Updates and revisions have been made across a range of LJMU staff policies.
Join a week of online events and workshops from Monday 21 to Friday 25 October.
