   IT Services will soon be migrating staff email accounts to provide us with greater security, increased storage limits and easier accessibility.

4. Green app can help save £100 a month in travel costs

   Liverpool City Region residents could save up to £100 each month by swapping car journeys for bike rides or walks according to data from a new mobile app being launched this week.

5. Black History Month through the eyes of a local Liverpool pupil

   This month Ceana Khonje, a local pupil from Belvedere College in Liverpool took on a work experience placement here at LJMU.

6. July is Disability Pride Month

   July marks the celebration of Disability Pride month. An opportunity to raise awareness and have positive conversations about disability in study and the workplace.

7. Honorary Fellowship: Councillor Gary Millar

   Liverpool John Moores University awards Honorary Fellowship to Gary Millar at Liverpool Cathedral on Thursday 14 July 2016.

8. LJMU launches pioneering scheme with senior Black leaders from across the Liverpool City Region

   The launch of the programme, yesterday evening at Liverpool John Moores University, saw the 26 leaders finding out who they had been paired with.

    Early-career researcher Hannah Dalgleish was invited to Parliament after making a new discovery about the Milky Way.
