1. New Subcontracting Policy approved

   The approved Subcontracting Policy sets out the requirement for subcontracting provision for degree apprenticeships delivered across the university.

2. Reportable Events Policy update

   Amendments are in line with the latest Office for Students (OfS) guidance.

3. Confidential Waste Policy update

   The updated policy includes further information on disposing of small amounts of confidential waste in confidential waste bins across the university and on how you can order secure bags for larger quantities.

4. New Export Controls and Sanctions Policy

   A new Export Controls and Sanctions Policy, in relation to research and knowledge exchange activity, has been approved and added to the LJMU Policy Centre.

5. Admissions Policy update

   The LJMU Admissions Policy has recently undergone some minor amendments and the updated version can be found in the Policy Centre.

   The Policy Centre has been updated with a new policy

7. Graduation review: Monday 11 July 2016

   The first day of LJMU's 2016 Summer Graduation Ceremonies kick off at Liverpool Cathedral on Monday 11 July.

8. Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning Policy update

   The Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning Policy (RPEL) has been updated to incorporate requirements for RPEL assessment for Apprenticeship programmes, and to reflect changes to governance related to RPEL.

9. Teaching and Learning Conference and Awards 2017

10. Academic Registry Policy Update

    The Academic Board has recently approved an update to the Personal Circumstances Policy, as well as detailed supporting guidance for LJMU students and the Personal Circumstances Panel.
