5. Zia Chaudhry MBE is to join Liverpool John Moores University as the Director of the LJMU Foundation for Citizenship

   As Director of the LJMU Foundation for Citizenship, Zia will lead the University’s social engagement activity, building on LJMU’s long history of community engagement and impact, ensuring that the University maintains strong and innovative partnerships with other community organisations.

6. Malaysia Graduation 2018

   LJMU has established strong relationships in South East Asia, and a mark of this success is the annual graduation of students in Malaysia.

7. Marine technology professor wins two prestigious research awards

   Professor Jin Wang from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology has recently won the following prestigious awards: Outstanding Contribution to Marine Safety award for 2017 and the 2017 Royal Institution of Naval Architecture (RINA).

8. Graduation review Wednesday 11 July

   Wednesday saw the School of Sport Studies, Leisure and Nutrition graduate in the morning and the Public Health Institute and the School of Education in the afternoon ceremony.
