5. NSS charity donation reaches £4,900

   Our final year students have raised a fantastic £4,900 for charity in the first two weeks of the National Student Survey (NSS) 2020.

6. New study suggests explanations for usage of plesiosaurs’ long necks

   Plesiosaurs are an extinct group of marine reptiles from the age of dinosaurs who are famous for their long necks. The effect of such long necks on how these animals swam is a mystery but now computer simulations are helping LJMU scientists understand what would happen if a plesiosaur turned its head while swimming.

7. New facilities now open at Avril Robarts Library

   Two newly-refurbished floors of Avril Robarts Library are now open!

8. Staff dental plan

   An opt-in period is now open for a staff dental plan.

9. Churchill Way Flyovers

   Liverpool City Council will shortly begin the process of demolishing the Churchill Way flyovers.
