1. Five things for our new students to do before they arrive

   As more students confirm their places at LJMU and we prepare for clearing, here’s five essential things we’ll be encouraging our new students to do as soon as possible.

3. Majority of April and May exams to be held online

   Most exams in April and May 2022 will be held online. There are a small number of examinations which will be held in-person due to specific requirements of the professional body.

4. Summer building closing times

   LJMU buildings will move to summer opening hours from Monday 19 June.

5. MyLJMU app available now

   You can now download our new MyLJMU app and have all of your student needs in your pocket.

6. LJMU Assessment 4 – 14 January 2022

   As we approach our assessment period early next year, this note is to provide you with important preparation information and to confirm that exams will take place in person (with the exception of Levels 3 and 4).

7. Four apps new LJMU students should download

   My LJMU, Canvas, Outlook and the Microsoft Authenticator apps are essential for all new students.

8. Don’t miss our Welcome Event for new students

   LJMU offers a wide range of different services for students – from money advice and study skills workshops to careers guidance and free gym membership.

   Annual fee of £25 for students and £40 for staff/alumni
