School of Psychology
A career in the maritime industry can extend onshore into vital shore-based ship management roles and a whole host of other related jobs. Some of these include ship superintendent, ports services and management, marine surveyor and ship broker.
Elder Dempster Lines was one of the UK’s largest shipping companies. As part of the Homeward Bound project, we’ve spoken to a number of Elder Dempster’s former employees and passengers, recording their ‘real’ stories and experiences. You can listen to their Elder Dempster stories here.
Funding was made available to support a number of Curriculum Enhancement Student Internship projects during 2020/2021.
Every year, researchers from ART LABS publish over 50 publications. Staff create publications within a number of key disciplines, including: contemporary art, 3D digital art, the uses of art and cultural enrichment, exhibitions and curatorship, as well as design discourse and practice.
