2. Alumnus wins coveted poetry prize

   We’re thrilled to learn that one of our Creative Writing graduates, Callan Waldron-Hall, was recently recognised for his outstanding writing at the Poetry Business New Poets Prize.

3. LJMU and LCR collaboration creates 44 apprentices for autism charity

   LJMU has collaborated with LCR to transfer £132,000 of unspent Apprenticeship Levy to Autism Initiatives, funding 44 new apprentice care workers for the charity.

4. Launch of MSc Emergency Care module

   The universitys new and innovative MSc Emergency Care module has been well received, with more than 200 stakeholders, leaders and healthcare professionals attending the launch symposium.

5. LJMU recognised for its breastfeeding friendly campus

   Liverpool John Moores University is proud to have been awarded the Liverpool Bambis Breastfeeding Friendly Mayoral Award and this week received the accolade from the Deputy Mayor of Liverpool.

6. JMSU Amazing Teaching Award 2022 Winners Announced

   The winners of the John Moores Students' Union Amazing Teaching Awards 2022 have been announced with 15 winners across six categories.

9. New book reveals lives, loves and losses behind War Widows’ Quilt

   A new digital exhibition book tells the moving stories that lie behind the squares of the War Widows Quilt, a collaborative piece of art made by more than 90 war widows.
