1. Could you be the EDI rep for your faculty or Professional Services?

   LJMU has created five Associate Dean positions across the faculties and one for Professional Services to support the university in driving forward the EDI agenda.

2. New mental wellbeing peer support

   We have a new team in place to help support any member of staff with their mental wellbeing. The LJMU Connectors are on hand to provide peer support and make sure colleagues have access to the appropriate resources and services.

3. Changes to the Leadership and Development Foundation

   The Leadership and Development Foundation is undergoing some changes to better support all staff development across the whole of LJMU.

4. Staff Infobase (Oracle E-Business Suite) is being upgraded

   Staff Infobase (Oracle E-Business Suite) is being upgraded over the Easter weekend. The upgraded system will be available by 8am on Tuesday 6th April. The upgrade will move the system to the latest version of the software, ensuring that it remains up-to-date and continues to effectively support the University's business.

5. Changes to Financial Codes - new guidance

   Effective immediately - The finance team has simplified the codes you use in systems like I-Buy

6. Mentoring at LJMU

   We're looking to have a better understanding of mentoring at LJMU via a short survey

7. Thesis Boot Camp

   PGRs attended 2 day residential writing event, at Gladstone's Library in Wales.

8. Staff dental plan

   An opt-in period is now open for a staff dental plan.

9. Residential Success for Children in Care

   LJMU welcomed 25 young people in care to their annual Year 10 Residential aimed at giving the Year 10 students a real taste of life at University.

10. Teaching textile and craft processes to high school pupils

    Staff and students from the Liverpool School of Art and Design have opened their workshops to pupils from Crosby High School as part of a four-month long collaboration exploring university learning.
