   Day two of graduation week saw more than 750 students receive their awards across two ceremonies at Liverpool Cathedral.

5. Visit to House of Lords to discuss how to support disabled graduates

   Keren Coney, Careers Adviser in Student Advancement: LJMU's Careers, Employability and Enterprise Service, was thrilled to go to the House of Lords to meet with Lord Shinkwin to discuss how to support disabled graduates as they seek to enter the workplace.

6. Aspiring Leaders from BAME Communities Informal Networking Event

   On Thursday 14th November 2019  (12.30pm  – 3.30pm), Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) will host a BAME into Leadership network event in partnership with BME Leadership Network (BLN) and Parrett Laver a recruitment company that assist HEIs with recruiting top level positions.

7. Kasper Schmeichel talk marks 20 years of Science and Football at LJMU

   Leicester City and Danish international goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel visits students from the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences.

   LJMU archives help the BBC tell the tales of those who've lived at 62 Falkner Street for A House Through Time.

9. Mind the GaP!

   Time is rapidly running out for Principal Investigators to be trained on the new Grants and Projects (GaP) system. It has been agreed by the University that any bids for external funding (research and enterprise activity) from April 2020 will need to be set up by the Principal Investigator on the GaP system, so its important that you book onto training ASAP.

10. Governors for Schools Staff Volunteering Lunch

    Event for LJMU Staff to find out about volunteering opportunities as school governors over lunch
