    Our research aims to improve cardiovascular health via exercise training and physical activity. Our two main areas of expertise are cardiac function and structure and vascular function and structure in health and disease.

    Matteo could be described as LJMU’s very own Indiana Jones. A principal lecturer in forensic anthropology, he is a charismatic academic with an unconventional approach to scientific inquiry in both forensic cases and life’s mysteries, with a penchant for holy relics and intrigue for ancient rituals, legends and even a spot of magic.

    Our wider objective is to contribute to the HE reform in Russia and China through establishing the sustainable system of professional development in higher education on the basis of the best EU teaching practices and equipped with contemporary innovative teaching methodologies and pedagogical approaches.
