1. New look and menu for LJMU catering outlets

   LJMU is launching a brand new look and menu across all of our catering outlets.

2. Girls feel strain of lockdown more - study

   A study of the impact of the pandemic on adolescents has found girls significantly more likely to suffer from lockdown stress and anxiety than boys.

3. Professorship conferred on Vice-Chancellor

   Mark Power, Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of Liverpool John Moores University, has been conferred as a Professor of Higher Education Leadership.

4. Graduate and Placement Recruitment Fair – 10 March, 12-3pm, Student Life Building

   Students from any programme or level of study are invited to attend this fair to meet and network with 50+ employers offering internships, placements and graduate roles.

5. Join LJMU at Liverpool Pride

   Liverpool Pride takes place on Saturday 30 July and LJMU are inviting all staff, students and friends to join us at the July event.

   Staff invited for lunch and tours on Wednesday, 13 October

7. New mental wellbeing peer support

   We have a new team in place to help support any member of staff with their mental wellbeing. The LJMU Connectors are on hand to provide peer support and make sure colleagues have access to the appropriate resources and services.

8. LJMU success at Greater China Awards 2022

   The university has won accolades for its work with China, as part of the UK's Department for International Trade Greater China Awards 2022.

   Several policies have been updated.
