1. EndNote software upgrade

   This summer EndNote Desktop software is being upgraded from EndNote X9 to EndNote 20.

2. Staff Infobase (Oracle E-Business Suite) is being upgraded

   Staff Infobase (Oracle E-Business Suite) is being upgraded over the Easter weekend. The upgraded system will be available by 8am on Tuesday 6th April. The upgrade will move the system to the latest version of the software, ensuring that it remains up-to-date and continues to effectively support the University's business.

3. Audit and Risk Policy update

   The Engagement of External Auditors for Non-Audit Work Policy has been revised.

4. Apprenticeships and Student Governance policy updates

   The new Apprenticeships Policy has received Academic Board approval and 20 Student Governance policies, guidance and pro forma have recently been reviewed, and have received minor amendments.

5. Academic Registry Roadshows

   Informal one-hour breakfast sessions open to all academic staff who want to learn more about the support available to them from Academic Registry.

6. Transgender Awareness Week and Transgender Day of Remembrance

   As Transgender Awareness Week begins, our LJMU Equality team explains what the week means and why it’s important.

7. Academic Registry online training sessions

   There are lots of academic staff training opportunities still available throughout the remainder of semester one.

8. Responsibilities during a fire alarm activation

   When a fire alarm sounds, everyone has a part to play in the safe evacuation of people from a building.

9. Disability History Month at LJMU

   Disability History Month begins today (16 November – 16 December) and our Disabled Staff Network, EDI team and JMSU will be hosting an event on Friday 2 December.

10. Respect Always Coffee and Catch Ups this November

    Do you feel respected within LJMU? All staff are invited to Respect Always 'Coffee and Catch Ups' throughout November to tell us your thoughts. Refreshments will also be provided.
