Ian studied at LJMU as an international student, travelling from Malaysia to Liverpool gaining his degree in mass communication in 2007. Since then, he has gone on to become an award-winning investigative journalist with a focus on social justice issues.
Olivia is a marketing executive and a degree apprenticeship graduate, having studied with us over four years before gaining her BSc in Digital Technology Solutions. She is passionate about STEM opportunities for all, uncovering data bias and championing diverse career pathways.

He started his career in Professional Services as an apprentice before eventually gaining a degree - the first person in his immediate family to do so.
